This is the first stage of Formation which last for a period of one year.  The  Candidate undergoes Orientation of the way of life by initiating her into the life of our Community by sharing in its prayers, works and concerns to help her to acquire the degree of human and spiritual maturity which enables her to make the transition from her former life style to the new way of Christian-religious perfection.  The main subject taught in this stage is mainly the Catechism .
